Governor Ivey kicked off day 2 of 2 of the annual Cognia Alabama IMPACT Conference.

Governor Ivey and former Bama and NFL quarterback Brodie Croyle kicked off day 2 of 2 of the annual Cognia Alabama IMPACT Conference at Frazer Church Wednesday.

Ivey began the day by highlighting the state’s recent success in both national and state numbers, praising Alabama’s progress in nationwide reading and math scores.

“Alabama students are achieving historic levels,” she said.Ivey’s speech was followed by a keynote from Croyle focused on leadership and positively impacting children’s futures.

“I have a passion for the same thing you have a passion for,” Croyle said. “And that is to see children get to become who it is that they were created to be and destined to be and how do we help them get to that place?”

Cognia IMPACT is a professional learning conference focused on sharing strategies and improving education in Alabama.
